About Us

One of One has always been about remembering special moments.

Owner and designer Gemma Shier created a print to commemorate the engagement of two dear friends. That was the first Date Print ever made – an entirely unique, fine-art print underpinned by a special meaning.

One of One grew from there, with requests flooding in from friends, and friends of friends. Gemma has worked with hundreds of people looking to recall a precious moment or place with an individually hand-crafted print.

Gemma is a designer and art director with an eye for the elegant. Known for her thoughtful, minimalist designs, Gemma runs Create + Curate, a boutique design agency based in Ponsonby, Auckland.

She’s passionate about simple, impactful branding and design that really speaks to people.
